DIRECTOR FOR STUDENT AFFAIRS

The Director for Student Affairs administers all facets of student affairs for the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science during the regular school year and supports all residential needs for teacher and student workshops held during the summer. Duties include, but are not limited to, securing, developing, supervising, and assessing student affairs staff; creating, demonstrating, and maintaining a positive and professional student affairs climate; overseeing all facets of the athletic programs through serving as athletic director; and communicating high expectations to students and staff.  Please click on the above job announcement for additional information.The application for employment can be found by clicking the Administrator and Faculty Employment Application link at the bottom of this page.

Biology & Chemistry Faculty Member

The Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science is accepting applications for a faculty position in Biology and Chemistry for the 2018-2019 academic year.  The successful candidate will be prepared to teach advanced courses in the areas of expertise.  The application for employment can be found by clicking the Administrator and Faculty Employment Application link at the bottom of this page. 

Mathematics Faculty Member

The successful candidate will be prepared to teach a range of advanced mathematics courses including calculus and statistics. The ability and expertise to teach courses in other areas would be desirable. GOEN RECEPTIONIST

The Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science is accepting applications for the position of Day Desk Worker for Goen Hall, which is a female residence hall.  The main responsibility of the Day Desk Worker is to serve as the primary point of contact for residents, parents, staff, faculty, administration, and other guests.  This person works under the supervision of the Goen Hall Director between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to maintain a welcoming environment for individuals entering and leaving the residence hall.  This person also assists with maintaining accurate daily records of student attendance and appointments of the approximately 150 residents.

ViSUAL ARTS INSTRUCTOR

COMMUNITY LEADER (FEMALE)

This is a live-in position. The main responsibility of the Residence Life Community Leader is to develop a residential environment that is safe and conducive to learning. Community Leaders serve as floor/area leaders and mentors for approximately 30-42 residents. residence life resident assistant (Male and Female)

This is a live-in position. RAs serve as floor/area leaders and mentors for approximately 30-35 student residents. The position requires a candidate who will develop and implement programs, counsel with students, and discipline student residents as needed.
